Driver –Propane Bobtail Delivery

Job Summary: 

Our propane bobtail delivery drivers will drive a tank/bobtail truck to deliver propane to residential and commercial customers. The number of daily deliveries and
quantities at each stop may vary based upon the route. An average range of deliveries may vary from 10 stops per day up to 25 to 30 stops per day. Our drivers are responsible for deliveries being made in an efficient, punctual, and safe manner while maintaining our mission or leaving our customers better off.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive to customer sites daily and complete the requested delivery safely and efficiently in the assigned delivery area.
• Operate vehicles and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete any required paperwork/invoicing for all deliveries made.
• Ensure the delivery locations meet all safety standards as well as state agency requirements prior to delivery.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Required federal, state and local licenses/permits/certifications for the work being performed. (We are willing to train and license the right person but full licensing
  is preferred.)
• Class A or B CDL with X endorsement , 2 years or more CDL driving experience required
• Current medical card.
• Knowledge of propane along with the safe operation in filling and storage operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and out of the truck.

Working conditions:

Environmental conditions such as rain, mud, ice, snow, and uneven terrain will affect this job, as the employee spends most of the workday outdoors.
