Job Responsibilities:
This position requires a high-energy, self-motivated team member who will provide positive energy, communicate effectively and help us achieve company goals and objectives. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Greeting customers
- Filling propane cylinders for customers at our office
- Repairing and recertifying propane cylinders
- Painting propane tanks
- Maintaining parts room and inventory
- Maintaining yard and office
- Answering phones and processing payments
- Picking up / delivering parts
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma
- Good technology and mechanical/technical aptitude
- Able to learn delivery & service work paperwork processes
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and out of the truck and doing service/installation work.
- Able to safely operate the equipment required for the position (as noted above)
Working conditions:
Environmental conditions such as rain, mud, ice, snow, and uneven terrain will affect this job, as the employee spends most of the workday outdoors.
Pay / Hours:
Pay will be determined by level of relevant experience combined with certifications & licenses held. Hours will vary based on the demands of the propane season, service schedules and other factors.
